My teen wanted a 10x20 to put in our yard for golf practice. Our yard is open in the middle with trees on either side, so initially we strung it up between the trees and the top rolled in and it didn't hang 10 feet vertically. It was pulled too tight and sagging at the same time. To adjust - I put a measuring tape out on the ground for 20' and understanding with the weight it would reach probably a little less than that, I loosened up the sides and re-purposed a yard post/hook for a bird feeder that's not in use during the summer so that I could add a support for the net in the middle. This did the trick. I then added a rope looped throughout the top of the line, doubled it around the top of the post's hook and continued to loop through to the other side and tied that taut. This took care of the rest of the sag on either side of my post to each tree. Tent hooks added to the ground to keep the bottom secure. Most of that was learning curve for me and not an issue with the net itself. When I looked at other examples online, people had a taut line all the way across their yard and had hooked the net to it, so this was what my added rope was doing, essentially. The ends I have secured up to trees with ropes that have cinches to adjust the tension easily. The down side is the net is far heavier than the small carabiners it came with can support and the first one we hooked up, the metal of the carabiner actually bent itself out straight. I went to the hardware store and purchased stainless steel loops that screw closed and used those for the top corners instead. So all told, I had to add a middle support, replace the carabiners with stronger ones, and switch from regular rope to ones with cinches so that I could hoist it up. I hope this information helps someone else since there really aren't much tips for nets like these and it doesn't come with anything.Have had a few weeks and have used every day. Been using mostly irons, some hybrids and woods. No issues.Very good net, nice and thick compared to some of the other nets that I have used. Also, is a very good value! You won’t go wrong with this one!I ordered this one and it's a lot better made and a lot more durable so I won't be buying them so oftenFast delivery. Works as expected. Good quality.
